Construction of sanitary facilities
including toilet and urinals in the five selected basic schools in the Agona
west constituency in the central region has been inaugurated.
Beneficiary
schools are lower Bobikuma Anglican basic school, Agona Abodom Catholic, Abodom
Anglican and Jhs, Agona Kwaman Methodist, Agona Nkum Presbyterian
The
Member of Parliament who carried out these projects from his share of the
common fund said the projects are 5 from a broader programme consisting of
about 19 basic schools earmarked for assistance in this regard.
The Municipal chief executive of
Agona west honourable Samuel sarpong advised teachers in the district to stop
drinking

Inkoom ,some of the schools have seriouse problems with their places of
convenience that has to be addresed to avoid any outbeaks ofdiseases
