summit for their outgoing service persons
who have completed their national service for the 2014/2015 academic
year
The summit was to prepare graduates
for the next step in life which is the job market. Mr. Opiah Mensah , director
of the national service scheme Ajumako district took graduates through the modern
ways of writing curriculum vitae and
cover letters, how to dress to an interview and even how to brand yourself well
enough to be the best candidate for an interview.
The Ceo of corporate life consulting
who doubles as a career coach Emmanuel Woyome who was a speaker at the summit
passionately asked graduates to build a reputable brand of their candidature to
avoid being misplaced in the job market.
woyome stated "If you build a reputable brand you get
the bargaining power". He urged graduates to identify their talent,
develop it and make it visible to the job market or employers.
He advised graduates to take good
opportunities from the social media to market their abilities and cvs instead of
the ordinary. Woyome reiterated that what
you post or do on social media is the continuation of your cv. He made this
remark at the outgoing ceremony for the outgoing badge of service personnel in
ajumako
Executives and loyal servants of the
association naspa were rewarded with citations for their countless effort to
the growth of the association. president of the association Mr. Kwakye
Patrick thanked all and sundry for their
coporation towards a succesful year.
